Lewis' right on Rahman or Tyson's right on Botha: Which was more devastating?

Tyson, the only flush punch he landed and it took Botha out..........:!:

 

lewis' looked worse but i think tysons was actually the better punch.....bothas head just quivered on his neck like an earthquake was happening

If Lennox landed clean no one could take his punch. Rahman, Tyson,Golota were all great punches. Even Grant.

Golota was never a big puncher , ever, skilled yes , mental midget , yes but no puncher.

the right of lewis for sure, and rahman was a much stronger fighter and harder puncher than the fat botha,rahman could even drop tua (who had a sturdy chin like hell), rahman was much more dangeours fighter than botha, lewis did hit harder than tyson with the straight right hand

 

The shot Lewis hit Rahman with was devastating. He basically ***** slapped Rahman with a loopy righthand that rolled his eyes back in his head like a slot machine.

The Tyson punch was short and compact but it didnt do the same damage.

 

Hard to say. They were both equally devastating in their way. Tyson's was a bit more impressive from a one punch perspective because he was trailing badly on the cards and hadn't landed anything of consequence till that point. Botha's got a pretty solid jaw, but he was just totally wrecked by that shot.

Rahman on the other hand had already been softened up by Lennox prior to the knockout and was caught by a hard left that popped his head up for the right to crack him. Still a damned hard punch, but not quite as pure a one punch knockout as Tyson's. Paradoxically, it might have been a harder single shot though.

 

Neither, or maybe equally mediocre. Tyson was shot long before he fought Botha, and Lewis is seriously over-rated. Period. Who couldn't knock-out Rahman and/or Botha? In fact Rahman is probably the only HW champ in recent memory who is more over-rated than Lewis. Buster Douglas, even, was better than either Rahman or Botha imo.

Lennox needed two punches to create just about the same effect that Tyson did with one, that answers your question right there.

 

2 different punches.

Botha got beat to the punch and was stepping in. An exchange of right hands and Tyson got there first. You cannot get hit harder than that. Rahman was at the end of Lewis' right hand--much like Botha was when he got splattered by Lennox. If Hasim was taking a step forward and got caught walking into that same punch, he would have been out a lot longer than he was.
