https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPJMn7izjOM Lewis showed Wilder how to use jab. It looks like now Wilder knows how to use it. Lewis would still KTFO Wilder though.
I remember seeing this video over a year ago. Seems like he using Lewis' advice. He does have a good jab and it will win a lot of fights for him.
Yes seen this. . . . .wlad also does this well and jabs well off the back foot. Shame some of these heavyweights do not turn to people like Lewis for advice/techniques because some of them could really do with it!
This is so laughable. Yes, Wilder learned how to jab in a made-for-youtube moment. Had nothing to do with things he worked on in the gym with his trainers. They didn't even know the jab was a punch. But Lennox magically transformed him in one short lesson. SMH
Lennox trained David Price against Thompson, and Price got destroyed. He was one of the best HW's of all times, but he's simply not a good coach. He's not good with words for once.
Lewis said that Price would not commit to him and came over for very very short amount of time, he offered to train Price full time but guessing he would be a very expensive option.
Lennox was a great boxer, but certain things that worked for him might not work for other boxers because every boxer is different. It's like Ali might of trained Lennox how to use footwork, bit just because Ali was able to box on his toes, doesn't mean everyone would be comfortable boxing that way. That's the point really, it;s what you're comfortable in doing. Wilder has a very good jab, but he doesn't jab like lennox, but it still works for him. Every trainer can advice and teach but in the end the boxer will fight the way he is comfortable in boxing. It's like the Mayweather, they're great, but Floyd SNR teaches the shoulder roll, but not everybody has the natural ability such as reflexes and speed to pull it off. Just because his son and his family pulled it off, doesn't mean it's for everyone.
