It's not beyond the realms of possibility. Lewis was no mug and wouldn't be intimidated in there. Tyson was a beast, but not unbeatable. We saw lesser heavyweights go the distance with a Prime Mike and he was even stunned by uppercuts a couple times, which Lewis throws very well. I would favor Lewis, who was a very intelligent fighter and had all the tools n tricks to beat Prime Mike. I'd favor Holy aswell to beat him.

How about Holy being the only ONE fighter in HW history to beat 7 different lineal HW champions? You are a Holyfield hater and its obvious.

I'd say all of them (Holy, Mike, Lewis) had great achievements and rank very high in all-time lists.

Great we get to hear about Prime Tyson... oh prime tyson would kick the **** out of this guy and this guy and this guy all in the same night... yada yada yada.

Prime Tyson crushed a ton of bums, but his wins over a old Spinks, an old Holmes, and Tony Tucker is supposed to mean to me he kills a Prime Lewis? **** no, Lewis under Steward was a ****ing machine and he wouldn't bend to Tyson's will and he would probably break Tyson like Douglas did in Tokyo.

The Prime Tyson lovers remind me of the Ike Ibeabuchi crowd, screaming about their guy because of him killing 18 cans and beating 2 actual fighters. And claiming since he left on a bang he could have beaten Lewis. Maybe, but he also might end up like Andrew Golota, getting sparked in a round.

"Prime Tyson" is the most overrated boxer ever...
Whenever somebody gave him trouble in the ring he broke down, it doesnt even take an ATG like Lewis to KO "Prime Tyson".

"Prime Tyson" is a myth, he has always been an unstable personality that couldnt handle pressure, during his "Prime" he just fought a bunch of has-beens and bums that cracked their pants only looking at him...

Sooner or later he wouldve gotten exposed anyway, all it took was a medium-skilled opponent that could take his shots and didnt fall for his bs-hype.
Holyfield wouldve beaten "Prime Tyson" just like he beat the "Post-Jail Tyson".

Prime Tyson dissapeared in 1990, then came back for a year. How strange.

People make constant excuses about Tyson's loss to Douglas saying his head wasn't in the right place (like Douglas' apparently was!) . These same people harp on about Lewis' loss to Rahman, completely ignoring that Lewis had been pissing about making a film in the weeks before the fight.

They can't have it both ways.

thats ignorant calling him a myth.

tyson was a lad who found his calling, had a mentor to channel his energies and give him DISCIPLINE - yet at the same time be an absolute wrecking ball who could have derailed ANY fighter in the first few rounds.

calling tyson a 'myth' and 'exposed' shows you dont understand one side of the sport - the mental side.

as much as judah was one of the greatest natural talents in boxing - but failed because he lacked maturity, direction and discipline - tyson self-destructed because the one person who gave him self-esteem, confidence and who he trusted 100% died..and he was too much of a loose cannon to put the pieces together afterwards.

you know, people find it easy to be dismissive and this is the perfect example for me.

there's a lot of depth, qualities and character which make up ANY person, and to try and dismiss someone like that as a 'myth' and 'exposed' shows you have a long way to go before you learn how to read people.

    stop generalising then...

lewis was KO'd with a lucky punch and redeemed himself. it happens, that simple.

    tyson's story is completely different.

All im trying to say is that Tysons skill never matched the aura that was created around him, of course you gotta have some talent to become the youngest ever HW-Champ, but he was far from unbeatable at ANY stage of his career.

Tyson was a gifted boxer with enough talent to become one of the ATGs, but being a real champ takes more than just talent, a hard punch and a great physique.

A true champion shows his best performances when he is challenged, a true champion fights and beats the best in his division when they are in their prime, a true champion is great even in defeat.
Tyson never had those qualities, he wasnt psychologically qualified, dedicated and disciplined enough to be considered one of the ATG-HWs and in my opinion he is the most overrated fighter ever AINEC.

How about Holy only ever beating American fighters, in America?

Not so impressive is it. good domestic fighter, never made the grade in international fights.
