There were two consecutive uppercuts landed near the end of round six, and both connected with sufficient force to snap by Vitali's head and draw "ooh's" from the crowd. Vitali stumbled forward and held Lewis, and the two careened into the ropes as the bell rang. But the impetus of the Journey into the strands was because VK was still lurching forward after taking uppercuts that were delivered with enough force to cause his head to rocket back on his shoulders. Smothered arm punches don't have that effect on someone.

In truth, I thought Lewis had his most dominant round in the 6th. He didn't land as frequently with the cross, but he landed consistently with the uppercut and did land several glancing over hand rights that exacerbated the damage to the eye.

Not sure if he carries that momentum into a hypothetical 7th, but Lewis had it going his way when the fight was (justifiably) called.

Hmmm, terrible feeling of deja vu i'm sure i've read this thread before...

Lewis TKO6 after Vitali viciously beat lennox's fists with his face. Lewis was right to retire when he did and probably would have lost the rematch, but he won this fight and that's A Fact.

Yes because watching someone beating a legend like Kirk Johnson would be what would intimidate an ATG like Lewis.

This thread is a riot, watching some of you K2 fans try and argue an undisputable fact. Lewis TKO6 today, tomorrow and forever. :hat

The problem is that a TKO6 trumps any score card so your argument is equally as irrelevant.
