Is is because he thinks he can beat him? Or is Lewis still holding a grudge and hoping someone beats Vitali? I think deep deep down Lewis wants Vitali to lose to someone just so he can feel a little better. I'm not ragging on him; love Lewis but I think deep down he still has those doubts which is why every chance he gets he tries to get one over on Vitali.
I think that Lewis is still pissed at Haye for not coming out of his dressing room on time. so thats why he recommended for him to fight Vitali.
Lewis wants someone to brutally ko him like he was 2x in his career. Problem is that it won't happen.
He probably said 'look mate, you'll never beat Wlad, but hit Vitali a couple of times and his face will look like a prolapsed anus and you'll win on cuts'
I think Lewis knows that 3 years or so from now Haye will want to come back because he can't live with how he went out as a boxer. He also knows Haye has a better chance of getting on top if he commits now and spends a few years learning how to beat a Klit. If I was advising Haye I wouldn't say go after Vitali right away (maybe beat up Rahman first instead) but obviously he's gotta go for Vitali soon as VK's only got 3 more fights.
Why not? Big payday against the perceived weaker of the brothers. Personally I think the guy should call it quits, it'll be Wlad - Haye all over again.
Lewis feels fine about how he left: "Look at his face, man." I agree that Lewis and Vitaly, despite ostensibly being friends, have a little thing going. Vitaly felt he deserved a reamtch, Lennox did not think he owed him one and is tired of hearing it. By the way, I think they are both great fighters and it was a great fight.
