I have heard some posters say that Bowe was going to fight Lewis if he beat McCall...[presumimg he didnt duck out again]

So why didnt he fight McCall and instead met Larry Donald.

Was it another case of seeing an explosive finish and ducking against McCall??

I personally think Bowe would have found a way to avoid Lewis in any scenario

I'd guess Don King was saving McCall up for Tyson, he managed to manouver McCall and Seldon into being WBA and WBC titlists

my guess is that Bowe didn't want 2 share Lewis' experience .

For the most part both Bowe and Lewis tried to avoid Don King. Lewis held that WBC belt so Lewis had to work with King because Suliaman was promoting all of Kings fighters as mandatories. Look at the list of fighters Lewis faced up and after losing to Mcall. All King fighters.

Because King chose to protect McCall by feeding him an ancient Holmes.

Very possible, seeing as this was the program for the McCall-Holmes fight:
