I forgot to mention David Tua, who weighed 224 pounds when he stopped Hasim Rahman in 1998. Two years later, when Tua weighed 245 pounds, Lennox finally mustered up the "courage" to fight him.
Can anyone think of other fighters who Lennox fought when they were past their prime? So far I have Tucker, Tyson, Tua, Holyfield, McCall (second fight).
It's a pick em in many respects and the fight could have gone either way. Personally I think Lewis at his best could have used his jab, movement and uppercuts when Tyson gets in range. Lewis was also aggressive and had dexterity in his work, which I think would give him the edge.
Tyson's quickness, power and chin would have been way too much for Lewis. It's sad that Tyson didn't have more self control. Oh well....
Tyson tells Lewis he's going to "eat his ass out." Lennox raises an eyebrow and blushes. During the actual fight, the clinches get more intense. There's ear biting and fondling. Finally both men are Dqed by Lane after making passionate love in the center of the ring. The actual fight might have went this way, but Tyson was rendered impotent by too many psychological drugs.
lewis would be tyson's Queen on that chessboard of yours.. tyson checkmates lewis in first half of The Game
I'm actually surprised you have the guts to even post on the same thread as me after I schooled your ass about Duran you f#$# *****. And try posting that Tyson is the 3rd best ATG heavy crap on the Classic board and you'll drummed right off of ESB you moron. And anyone who actually watches Tyson fight or understands boxing knows his best range was mid range, not on the inside. But I guess you're rather post **** than actually watch how Tyson fights. Anyway if nothing else, you've once again proven how truly limited your boxing knowledge really is. But now that I've finished wasting my time replying to your post, the fight itself could go either way. If Tyson can land at mid range early and hurt Lewis he wins. If its a fight from a distance Lewis wins, and if Lewis can consistantly land his jab and a few upper cuts to discourage Tyson from fighting a mid range he also wins.
Don't be such a thick ****. :blood Tell you what, for a laugh, please post your top 15 ATG heavyweight list. :deal If not, try punching yourself in the face until things go numb, you dense doorknob.
The trouble is when Tyson was considered in his prime he was knocking out bum after bum in 1 round. As soon as he stepped up the competition he started to struggle Tyson lost his biggest fights IMO ANY version of Lewis beats ANY version of Tyson
Focused prime Lewis beats prime Tyson 9/10 times - Tyson always has a chance to land tho. Lewis was just another type of machine. Tyson has the skills and raw power and aggresion. Lewis was the master, he knew how to beat anyone put in front of him and unlike most he could execute it to perferction. The Lewis from the first Holyfield fight TKO's any version of Mike
