I see Lewis winning this when Vitali's King falls off the board and is badly damaged after Lennox accidentally steps on it, despite the Ukrainian seemingly having a strong position... Check Mate 6
Vitali Both claim to be decent club level standard, but Vitali is actually at that level (~1700 FIDE) while Lewis only claims to be. I've seen some games of both and Lennox seems to play far below that level. (I have a 2000+ FIDE chess rating so do know what I'm talking about).
That’s very impressive. But do you play blitz? I can’t take ratings too seriously if someone plays blitz or some other speed format though. My highest is 1700s but I play very sporadically these days. Would be nice if we had a chess thread here. I have chess.com and Lichess accounts if anyone ever wants a game during a Katie Taylor fight on an RBR night.
I don't know how these scores translate to actual gameplay but I'm sure I can give you a trouncing. I remember from school days playing against a rival school when my horsey took the pointy one and I had 2 castles left as well as the one that goes in all directions. You shouldn't present a problem to a seasoned campaigner like myself.
That was Nigel Short's signature move. Those fools at FIDE claimed it breached some silly rule but what would they know.
The guy was doing it to put me off my game . Worse, it was working and I was losing. So I warned him once. He didn't listen. You didn't mess with 11 year old BCS8!
