I mean, Holyfield was past prime and Lewis was still in his prime, but Holyfield gave him a good run for his money. Tyson, idk. I'd lean towards Tyson and Holyfield winning.
It took prime Lewis 8 rounds to put down a worn out Tyson and couldn't put down an even more damaged Holyfield in 24 rounds. Lewis would get beaten against prime Tyson or Holyfield. Tyson would likely be a early/mid-round KO and Holyfield would likely get a knockdown in the late rounds into a SD or UD.
93 holyfield wins, 88 tyson as well. And i rate Lewis higher h2h than both but stylistically i think hes in trouble. subtract 6 years off holyfield in the lewis rematch and i think he edges the decision. The way Tysons corpse jabbed with lewis and how long lewis took to get him outta here and how cautious he was tells me tyson probably decisions him like tucker.
Respect my Jamaican brethren but I think Holyfield n Tyson at their best beats him. Like said, Lewis didn't look that great against a past prime Holyfield n took almost 10 rds to dispose of a force ghost Tyson.
Tyson KO'd him. Holyfield might outpoint him, but then again he might not, it's a 50:50 match. Holyfield was not as washed up as some think vs Lewis, he had indeed lost some speed and stamina, but he was stronger than ever.
Holyfield was also smarter in the late 90s aswell, yes a younger Holyfield was probably sharper overall. But with his tendency to get lured into a brawls easily, his more brawling style in early 90s might not have worked out well for him vs prime Lewis.
I dont know about that one but Lewis could at least struggle against Sharkey. I try to give ol timers the benefit of the doubt but w so little footage its hard for me to gauge most in hypothetical matchups.
Lewis is slept on, I think he outpoints Holyfield and him vs prime Tyson could go either way. I lean towards Lennox on points though.
