Lennox would beat George ultimately with straight punches.

Are you asking about prime vs prime or an old Foreman vs a prime Lewis?

I'd pick Lewis. He had better technique and he had more options, as he could probably keep this fight on the outside if he wanted to, but George certainly had a punchers chance and Foreman winning wouldn't be a huge upset.

This fight might be a slugfest mix between Lewis-Briggs & Foreman Lyle. :!:

I have Lennox by TKO6 as the ref jumps in to save a tired Foreman from being battered too brutally across the ring, i would expect Lewis to have floored him 2 or 3 times before the stoppage.

Lennox would make great damaging use of his ramrod jab & very heavy straight to counter the much slower, wide swings of George down the middle.

Foreman is higher in my atg list. This is a tough fight. I think lewis is technically better but damn if he gets complacent and one of foremans looping hooks catches him
    It's game over.

Old foreman gets badly beaten up imo.

hmm tough one...maybe Foreman if he gets a good punch in cuz God knowes he has power in his hands but if i have to play it safe i would go with lewis in the late rounds or UD

    Prime Foreman.

The Jimmy Young fight was one of (if not the) last fight before his hiatus. By the time it took place, he was already pretty mentally messed up.

This is a good stylistic fight for Lewis who spent his entire career fighting "big men" with big punches.

Foremans wide blows would leave him wide open for Lewis straights and jabs all night.
Kally is pretty sport on with his prediction.

Lewis Hooooooooooooook. ( Like Foreman Hoooooook only better looking)

Hard for me to watch that Lyle fight and come to the same conclusion, as Foreman was hurt plenty of times in that fight and I don't really see why Lewis couldn't accomplish the same thing.

George would only need to catch him clean once and he would catch him. Probably in about the 3rd or 4th.
