Best post of the thread. A lot more focus should be in what a great war it was rather then to question the result over and over and over again.

    WTF are you talking about?!?

Both Tyson and Lewis had Golata running up and down ***** street wearing heels and a short skirt....

Yes, VK has indeed beaten someone.

A string of BUMs, STIFFs, Tomato Cans, and No-Hopers.

Congratulations, you just won the Grand Prize...

    2-eyed Vitali-Lewis 2-0
    1-eyed Vitali-Lewis 2-2

    Think about it...

Lewis never gave a rematch in his entire career. Got 3. His rematch win against a faded (see them both fight Mercer) 37 year old much smaller Holyfield is seen as a big win. And yet a 37 year old Lewis who was much bigger and training for a championship fight (unlike his opponent) is called the un-Lewis by his fans.

If Lewis chin was questionable then how come Tua, Grant, Rudduck, Mavrovic, Prime Briggs, Your hero Golata, Mercer, Holyfield, Tyson ( was way past it but still has a ko punch to end it), Vitali couldn't ko Lewis huh?

Anyone who thinks he's chin is questionable hasn't really been following him throughout his career. The McCall punch was a punch he never saw coming cause he was trying to throw his own, and it's the punches you don't see that cause all the damage. But you simply can't have the type of career Lewis has had if you can't take a punch. He would have to have been the best defensive boxer in history to have the career he did, beating the likes of Tua, Tyson, and Vitali, among others, if he didn't have a chin.

He must have realised his skills were slipping, but I would have heavily favored him had he come in half a stone lighter (7lbs) and with a decent game-plan.

Actually, I think Lewis' defense, under Steward, was pretty damn good...

Damn, you'll say anything just to say anything lol... Lewis would never quit in a fight. He goes out guns blazing, and gains revenge if he is shot first lol... Golota...lol.

Lewis had an above average chin but not a good chin. He has been rocked pretty bad many times in his career and KOd twice by journeyman.

Oh come on now. Look at some of the shots he took from Vitali, Tua, Mercer, Tyson, Bruno, Tucker etc

He had a very good chin, I'm not say ATG great chin and tbh those ko's were grade A, top drawer, goodnight punches. ESP the McCall punch, cocked from waaaay back, full weight moving forward as lennox threw his. That punch would have sparked 99.9999999% of fighters.
