Lewis vs. Mavrovic wasnt such a stinker

    The best thing is that, although Mavrovic had to retire in '99 due to that wasting disease, he not only recovered completely from it eventually but he's also doing very well for himself. A real big-time operator in the organic food market.

    Tell that to Rahman... The punch that Mavrovic took in the 11th wasn't maybe that hard, but it was similar to the one that made Razor Ruddock fall like a sack of potatoes - kind of pushed straight right flush to the chin.

    Notice that Mavrovic also took twice as many shots as Vitali, over the full 12 rather than just 6, and yet didn't end up with his face torn to bits.

    Mavrovic never went down in his career, as an amateur or a pro.
    Felix Savon himself praised Mavrovic's chin after he'd fought him in the amateurs.

    It wasn't a highly entertaining battle, but both landed numerous flush shots throughout the contest--the same cannot be said for the **** show which was Klitschk-Ibragimov.
