The comparison does not even stick.old foreman and young foreman were different fighters technically. And even then young Foreman does better in the vast majority of the matchups.

You were arguing 38 year old out of shape Lewis does better than 38 year old in shape Lewis. That is absurd.

That's probably a fair assessment. Rematching Vitali would have been HARD ... win or lose.

The only absurd one is you, since you can't recognize added weight has a benefit, not just a detriment, and that the extent to which that matters varies by matchup.

Lewis punched half his face off. The damage was HORRIFIC. I'd hardly call this sort of damage "luck".

Lewis was 2 points behind and coming on. He hit Vitali with some huge punches prior to the end. He was heading for victory for mine.

If out of shape, the added weight does a lot more harm than good. It is just irritating to me that you keep persisting in your argumentation.

Wasn't Vitali a "replacement fighter" for Fight 1, and only had 3 or so weeks to prepare after notification?

    Wow, easy work, then.

Lewis should have rematched the big lunk instead of hiding behind mummy's skirts I guess. :scared1

Nope he was training to fight Ross Puritty on the same bill and actually started camp before Lewis who was originally scheduled to fight a totally different style fighter,Kirk Johnson.

Cool, should have been a cakewalk rematching a big, quitting bleeder, then.

Vitali was training to fight Cedric Boswell - http://www.upi.com/Vitali-Klitschko-on-Lewis-undercard/44971053020589/ - on the undercard of Lewis's fight with Kirk Johnson when Johnson got injured two weeks before and had to pull out. As a replacement Vitali's mandatory was bumped up.

Both Lewis and Vitali took the fight on short notice and had the same amount of preparation time.

That's cool, it's not irritating to me at all that you are so simpleminded and irrational not to recognize that added weight has a benefit in punch absorbing, clinch and power. Manny Stewart himself noted this repeatedly in the actual fight. For all those reasons, it looked highly possible that Lewis's weight was planned for to deal with Vits size. But I know you are just a simpleminded fop, I won't take it personally and will continue to school you with joy.
