Never said it would be easy ,that's just you and your tag team partner Andrewa ,[ I know everything ,] putting words in my mouth I never spoke.
    Klitschko
    Holyfield
    Bruno
    Ruddock
    Tua
    Mercer
    Tucker
    Morrison
    Tyson

Wins over those is what makes him a true champion!

I never disputed Lewis is a champion, or that he has a better resume than Vitali. In fact, I think he's a lock for Top 5 HW and arguably higher. I'm not sure Vitali makes a top 10 HW list on resume alone. Don't see the relevance of this, frankly.

What I DO say is that he should have rematched Vitali, and not rematching him with such a **** poor excuse makes him look weak and sad.

If he'd said that Vitali was his last fight and he was retiring after, because he was old and fat, BEFORE the fight, it would be one thing.

Instead, he'd talked about how great he was feeling and how long he was going to hang around for.

He knew that a rematch with Vitali would be hell on earth, and I think he would have lost it.

    That's why he retired.

why, in your opinion, is retirement at 38 a great excuse for all the heavyweight champions except Lewis?

is it becausethat retiring lewis was the one who put a whole in prime vitalis head inside halftime?

She,you are entitled to your opinion that retirement at 38 is wrong for lewis, but you must now explain why the almost all the otehrs retired or were retired by that age too. Get to it, start with John L Sullivan all the way up to Holmes. Explain why they are ALL WRONG in your opinion.

Here's a bunch of stuff addressing that question, that I already wrote, and that you seem to have missed. In no particular order, cut n pasted:

    3) Lewis had been lipping off about how great he was and how he'd never been better
    4) Lewis promised a rematch and never delivered
    5) Other fighters that beat Lewis gave HIM rematches.

BEFORE that fight he was banging on about "aging like fine wine" and fighting Vitali, then Tyson, then Wlad. He lost his appetite for boxing AFTER the Vitali fight.

To restate what I said already: before the Vitali fight, Lewis was clearly stating that he felt better than ever, that he was going to be around for a while. He had plans. He wanted to fight Vitali, rematch Tyson and take out Wlad. AFTER the Vitali fight, he decided to retire, despite promising a rematch.

Easy work for a Lewis who said he would stick around for years, who wanted to fight not only Vitali but Tyson AND Wlad to boot.

    That's why he retired.

so these are your arguments for ALL the HW champs from sullivan onwards being retired by 38 is a cop-out by them?

YOu've failed to address them completely. You've not explained about ONE of them.

    Try again.

    "Klitschko,
    This content is protected
, fought a flawless fight and seemed on the verge of a knockout several times, including in the seventh round when he buckled Briggs with a right hand near the end of the round. But the bell saved him and referee Ian John Lewis showed no interest in stopping it."

when you are ready to start, get on with it, but you've still offered zilch, although you are still doing a good job of pretending that you have answered. Which makes what you wrote after that entirely self referential -
so far your contribution of the HW history at the time of Lewis retiring (2003?) is vitali in 2007 vs the absolutely appalling near-40 briggs. Lets not even mention the embarrassment of you using the WRONG TIME PERIOD ENTIRELY since your example was bad enough!

GEt TO WORK ON PROVING ALL THE HW CHAMPS were wrong to retire before/at 38 please. YOU NEED TO DO SOMETHING FAST! START WITH JOHN L SULLIVAN and get writing.

    1) You're an idiot
    2) Your argument is a non sequitur
    3) https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/non sequitur
    4) I just creamed you

    and, most importantly:

    5) I don't take orders from maggots like you.

the non-existence of your answer material obviously burns you enough for you to answer back.

so far you've done the equivalent of answering "whats the capital of Botswana?" with the entirely exclusively irrelevant riposte "PLANET URANUS!" (by mentioning a vitali fight in 2007 as relevant to a question about the pre-lewis before 2003 period of retiring champions, that is holmes backwards). Its impressive that you think an entirely misplaced answer is "creaming me".

You can only improve on a completely irrelevant answer surely.

Demonstrate how your question is at all relevant first.
