Lewis vs Witherspoon.

One thing he does better that will likely have an impact on the outcome of this fight is great chin (barring the second Smith fiasco, that was the only fight I saw Witherspoon dropped, let alone staggered). He also had a better defense than Lewis. Lewis relied on his height and reach to keep guys outside, but if you could get somewhat close, his defense often broke down. Witherspoon would slip the Lewis Jab, get inside and work the body. He would soften up Lewis round by round.

l think Witherspoon would win by late rounds stoppage.

 

Ya but does he get Rahman'd I or Rahman'd II ?

 

Spoon was one of the most dangerous HWs when he was in the mood hard to tell which one will turn up .spoon on a good night beats lewis on a bad night and vis versa.both at there best? I go for Lewis on points but would be tight.

 

I'm thinking Pinklon Thomas ,Everett Martin, & Bonecrusher don't beat Lewis.

I think Witherspoon has a decent chance with Lewis, it all depends on how he handles Lewis's jab; didn't he struggle with Pinklon Thomas just down to the jab? On the plus side Tim had a booming overhand right and a good chin which give him hope. I can see them each having a win in a two fight scenario.

 

Why not ,they are as good as Smith, Thomas ,and Martin?
