Lewis, from 97-04 was immensely talented and looked as complete a fighter as we've seen in the division since larry holmes. However he did lose smack bang in his prime however.

Wlad from 04-11 has looked equally immense but the start of his prime he was quite shaky.

I think the only definite result is as a result of timing. I.e had wlad caught the lewis of rahman 1 he clearly is a favourite. Likewise if lewis catches wlad of brewster 1 or williamson then he's a clear favourite.

However the wlad from byrd 2 or chag is more than a match for anyone, likewise lewis from holyfield, grant or briggs is more than a match for anyone.

A couple of years ago i'd have prime lewis a clear favourite over prime wlad. But considering wlad has been on top of the world 5 years running and has proven his greatness so far so aside from the upper echelon i'm not picking against wlad.

I'm not saying he's the favourite, not by a long shot. But likewise he is not an underdog.

Bear in mind it is not beyond the realms of possibility for wlad to overtake lewis himself.

I don't care what anyone says, this is an exciting time for the heavyweights simply because we are seeing a great champion in his prime strengthen his legacy with every fight.

It's about time boxers were appreciated in their prime rather than in their retirement.

Exactly! "The most talented heavyweight I've worked with."
Wladimir made Lewis nervous. Simple as that! :good Hence the phone call to Sanders the night before the fight.

You are entitled to your opinion, no matter how **** it is. Anyone who beats Vitali beats Wlad

The fact that Manny is currently working with Wlad, yet calls Lewis 'the best HW i've had' speaks volumes. I like Wlad, but this wouldn't make a very good fight. Lewis by KO before 6.

Lewis vs Klitschko would have been a helluva fight. I just wish we could have seen it, but with Steward training them one would have had to have trained with someone else, that one would have been the one to have lost.

It was also injury against Lewis. Vitali was up on all cards. Lewis is not invincible. Wlad would give Lewis all he could handle and more.

Are you saying Wlad-Lewis would be a bad fight? Do us all a favor and go away. You have nothing to contribute except attacking other posters anyway.

Manny is a cherry picker trainer has he ever brought a fighter along or just picked good fighters and made them slightly better by using boring tactics ?

Manny often contradicts himself and talks a load of **** too like saying calzaghe is the greatest fighter ever he has about 50 that are his #1 ever.

No offence but good fighters can make any trainer look good as long as they keep winning or beating bums.

Steward is a good trainer but I think overrated as to what he actually brings to the table.

I was talking about the Vitali injury, which you know i was.
If you ever read anything other than a Klitschko thread then you'd know i don't attack no-one. But if you mean Bubby, Bretchko and you, well yeah i think you are worthy of a swipe from anyone. Infact, you should all have ****ing targets on your heads, for being the hideous, childlike and unreasonable posters you are. Pure guff.
Go away is a pretty childlike response. Are you another boy like Bubby.
