    No.

We agree Lewis never lost in his Prime.

Pre-Prime against McCall. Past it and mental problems v Rahman.

    Tyson lost at his peak.

listen when you're 38 years old obviously your reflexes and athleticism will be off this goes for any sport especially boxing when you've been in the sport for that long

    Hopkins.

Some fighters are actually generally better or least not worse when they're in their 30's than when they're in their 20's IMO. Especially heavyweights. Even if they're reflexes and speed are slightly eroded, they make it up with experience and ring IQ, sometimes they add some serious muscles too.

This was the case with Lennox IMO. At 38, he was past his peak, but only slightly.

Who would win peak for peak between him and Vit - I can't tell although I would lean slightly towards Lennox. But don't make it a mismatch cause they would be as legitimately matched as it gets. Nothing is clear as day here. Vitali H2H belongs with the best HW's ever IMO.

Agreed. Plus in certain sports, bigger guys have a certain tendency to age more slowly, likely because they don't rely on speed as much. A HW fighter can stick around because of power and ring intelligence even when they're past their physical peak. Of course smaller guys can do this too but the less reliant you were on pure speed/athleticism the less you'll fade with age. See BHop and RJJ for example.

At 38 Lewis was clearly near the end of his career and had faded but was nowhere near shot. I though he looked slow against Tyson despite being so dominant.

He was at his career heaviest and while he was far from being fat I doubt his conditioning was what it should have been.

So saying he was old and fat is a clear exaggeration. Slightly faded and out of condition would be a more apt description of that version of Lewis.
