Vitali is 38 now, there should be someone out there who can compete. One more injury and id say vitali will be gone for good. Haye did well against the giant and i liked the way he wobbled him with a glancing blow, that proves hes got enough power to trouble even the biggest. Bring on haye v the k brothers thats what i say. Plus chambers had a very good win last time out so maybe he can cause some problems to wlad. Chambers is a tidy boxer.

KJ was tough and deserved credit. Foreman would not have slipped anything through his guard. Lewis commentating on HBO didn't have any suggestions on what Vitali could have done to KO KJ other than throw some more hooks.

But the guy was so turtle minded and determined to go 12, it was impossible to stop him. Just like those decent skilled guys who decided to survive vs. Tyson, Tyson couldn't do nothing about it and had to go 12.

    Tommy V,

Dude, you are borderline nuts to insanity......... The "K" bros. stand tall and alone at heavyweight.... Vitali and Wlad both punch like a Mule kicks........ Christ, V.K.'s kayo % is the highest there is right now at the world class level...... WTF are you smoking???

Kevin "Safety Pin" Johnson is NOT a *****..... The dude is 6' 4" tall and 242 pretty freaking solids pounds.... K.J. has a big upper body..... The dude is elusive and savy, yet he lacks offensive power..... Still, he is skilled..... Bums and stiffs do NOT last 12 rds with a master like Vitali Klitschko......... Johnson is tuff..........

The "K" bros. are doing damn well and are active fighters keeping the belts alive....... Why complain or knock these dudes???? This brotherhood is great for boxing........

Exactly Bill, if you don't have frazier, foreman, norton or bowe as wins on your record, to the cynics it's as if you only fought and beat bums.

the thing is Kevin Johnson could probably beat Norton, Frazier with those fine skills and his size.

but the brainwashed will mindlessly mock that idea and assume Frazier and Norton would savagely KO Johnson in under two rounds.

    Johnson would dwarf Frazier.

It's true, theKlitschkos in their form now, could be the greatest ever. They are amazing and underappreciated fighting machines.

It is irrelevant of age or of the number of fights. Especially if those poze no real challenge. Which was the problem in this fight. Vitali wasn't really challenged until then.
I don't think he respected Lewis's power enough, going into that fight.

IMO, Vitali, as a boxer, has peaked late in his career. You wouldn't see a 2009 version of Vitali getting hit flush by Sanders as the 2005 did. Vit's boxing is probably the best it has ever been, but reaching 40, his physical condition will deteriorite. Still, provided no serious injuries, he'll go on for one or two years.

There is talent in the division, Eddie Chambers, Johnson, Arreola, Haye, K bros, Povetkin. Pair any of those against each other and you get an exciting fight. (with few exceptions of course) It's just a matter of accepting that... ok, maybe the level isn't all 70's and maybe the K's are true champions given that they haven't really been challenged in recent times. But there is potential for excitement.

Personally, I can't wait for Wlad vs Eddie Chambers.
