2001 was pretty much the middle ground between Wlad's stoppage loss to Puritty and him getting poleaxed and worn down by Sanders and Brewster respectively. He'd have been in way over his head against Lewis at this point, the only exception being if Lewis didn't prepare and turned up to the fight with zero respect for him, as he did against Rahman that year (ironically blaming his lack of focus on his involvement in Ocean's Eleven). Rahman was obviously supposed to just be a keep-busy exercise for Lewis while the Tyson fight was being painstakingly made, hence him looking past his opponent so horribly. But the Klitschkos, outside of that, were seen as the biggest potential threats to Lewis, even if nobody really rated either of them on his level, so it's unlikely Lewis would have been as lackadaisical and unprofessional against Wlad as he was against Rahman. So lump all that together - Wladimir gets hammered.
Wlad was a little green then. Unless he catches a over-confident and arrogant Lewis on a bad night, a la Rahman, WK gets stopped.
