Lewis avoided south paws in his pro career so Sanders could have been a difficult one.

Only a clown would believe Laapai earned a mandatory shot by beating nobody. A bigger clown thinks Wlad had no say in taking the fight.

Look at the rankings you clown, Boystov was ranked very high in the WBO for some time. Leapai became mandatory, and #1 with that upset win. It was a **** fight, but Leapai earned his shot. So you're going to fault Wlad for fighting who's in front of him? Especially when he can't get any big fights lined up? :huh

How many times a year were Louis, and Ali fighting at 37-38?:think

Wlad still fights the best competition available, who has Wlad ducked over the years. Can you tell me?

No, Boystov suddenly became #1 when Wlad finished with Povettkin. Before that Helinus was #1.

Who did Boystov beat to become #1??

Wlad just wanted another fighter with a zero but the script didn't go according to plan.

30 and 50 rated HW getting authentic mandatory shots by beating nobody?? Give me a break .

That's funny because Boystov was #1 before Wlad/Povetkin took place. Check the rankings again.

I don't know goes through the sanctioning bodies minds, but the fact remains that Boystov was #1.

Do you have proof for that, Dino? :think

Helenius was #1 by WBO till July 2013. Now tell me who Boystov beat to become #1 . It wasn't the Nightmare and he ducked fights with Fury and Chisora so who was it?

Dino's not my name pal. But his posting is where i found out about this nonsense .

think lewis would have wiped them all out early, except for one opponent who he would take too lightly, and get koed by that one...then he'd come back and stop the clown in 1.

he ran in fear from retired class corrie, like no HW champ in history.

The question was whether Lewis could go through Wlad's resume unbeaten and the answer is that while he would beat all of Wlad's opponents on paper, he had a history of getting stopped by guys he should have beat when he didn't come in to the fight with the right frame of mind. Thus it is very likely he would drop a couple losses against inferior fighters over more than 60 fights - and a fast, aggressive starter like Sanders is just the sort of banana skin he COULD slip on (though a focused Lewis would certainly beat him).

no, you need to go above retired class to catch lewis out. prime corrie, let alone retired corrie, is not prime enough to be that man. haye though perhaps might manage it in his absolute prime when lewis guard is down.

retired class is however good enough to destroy K bros, which I can say because it is what happened, de facto, undisputable. retired holmes, retired ****ey, retired foreman, retired bowe - all these retired can wipe out wlad in 1 round.

please donte offended by the facts.

That's the thing....had the fights not happened, nobody would pick McCall or Rahman to ice Lennox, either.

He couldn't get to 26-0 before he got tripped up. Why should we believe he can get to 66-0?

That's no insult against Lewis, that just means he was human. No other heavyweight has done it or will do it, either. One would need a lot of faith in Marciano winning another 17 fights after he retired to match it- good luck on that with a slowing down swarmer.

You are making little sense. Sanders wasn't retired when he faced Wlad - he had fought only 4 months before and one year before that again. There isn't a huge gulf in class between Sanders and Rahman or McCall who both beat Lewis. Consider also that Lewis' two losses came when he was in his late 20'ies and mid 30'ies respectively - it wasn't a question of him being green or over the hill on those occasions. No, he lost because he was unfocused and got caught. It would very likely happen to him at more than one occasion over a string of more than 60 fights. That's not a knock on Lewis, who as great, but at HW anyone can get ko'ed if they lose focus.
