Lewis would have went through Wlad's resume undefeated and completely dominant

Who's fault is it fighters dont fight as often? They could if they wanted, they CHOOSE not to. There is much less to scrutinize Ali's soft fight or even Louis' so called bum of the month club in a 13 month span. Ive never been one to blame Wlad for who hes fought, he cant help he fights in a soft era. But its relevant if you're going to try and compare his resume with other greats.

The list of great heavyweight resumes you can go to that easily surpass the depth of Wlad's resume is getting shorter and shorter.

Ali fought 49 times against fighters who, at one point in time, were top 10 rated, going 44-5. There were a couple arguable fights, but for the sake of the argument, we'll take the numbers as they are. That's an exceptional total.

Joe Louis fought an incredible 54 times against fighters who'd been rated top 10, going 51-3.

No heavyweight is going to match or surpass those volume marks, and they are clearly the highest two in history. Perish the thought of anyone catching up to either fighter on that.

Since Ali, the heavyweight who's got the most wins under that metric is.....Wlad, with a 23-2 (18) mark. Yes, the third highest ranking heavyweight champion by those numbers from WWII-today is still 21 wins away from tying the #2 man.

Lennox and Holmes are next in line, bunched together closely with Wlad. To put it in perspective, Louis and Ali had as many or more wins against current, former, or future top 10 rated fighters than Lennox had fights.

Lewis was his own worst enemy. Overconfidence was his downfall. I think Lewis was a much better fighter than WK.
