IMO Machida and Anderson would beat EVERY UFC HW, Lesnar included. His only chance would be to bullrush, take them down, and overpower them. Chessboard fighters like LM and AS would telegraph that, sidestep, and beat the **** out of him as he dives into thin air. I remember reading a thread in here basically disecting Silva vs Fedor. Now im in awe of Fedor. If he ever fought with LM or AS i would have him as the favourite. However A/L woud certainly have a chance. And thats against FEDOR - the best HW/P4P MMA fighter in history. If i give these guys a chance against Fedor, then you can bet your ass im picking them to beat every UFC HW.

Out of the lot Brock prob has the best chance. For the obvious reason that he's ****ing massive. But fighting prime A/L are on a different planet entirely from a 43yo Couture, Herring or Mir. (and to please boxingcar i wont "stoop so low" as to go any further with the Mir fight) :good
I agree with most of what your saying, but there is not way out of a heel hook, i i feel a heel hook on i tap because it will break your leg. i could see Fedor loosing to a heel hook but he didn't and he didn't get Ko'd by hunt or submitted by Nog who are top HW's. I agree with pretty much everything else you say. To add to this thread, the reason why the LHW look so good in the UFC is because there is no real talent in the HW division. CroCop even now has a chance of going in against Mir or Lesnar and winning. The most acomplished fighter in the UFC is nog by far and he has been in so many wars he is not going to be at his peak. people just think the LHW have a chance because by comparison they just look better than the HW.
Anderson was taken down by Okami, Henderson, Marquardt, Lutter (repeatedly) and even Franklin in their 2nd fight. Basically every half decent grappler he's fought has taken him down and most had little trouble in keeping him there. The only opponents who HAVEN'T taken him down where the strikers who made no attempt to do so. If 185lbs bjj fighters can take Anderson down and hold him there what makes you think a 280lbs world class wrestler can't?
Andersons ground game puts the aforementioned guys to shame. Notable exception - i thought - was gonna be Hendo..... but all i saw was another example of how improved Anderson has become. I really hope you understand the significance of being taken down by Henderson, yet Hendo being able do completely NOTHING. But of course Lesnar is far bigger.... .... and for that very reason Anderson would be hyper alert to that danger. With Anderson's unparalleled reactions, Lesnar's nose would either meet a knee, or - as he was trying to regain his feet - he would be brutally finished off.
