Adamak vs Seth Mitchell. Make it happen. I like the Pole but he loves his tune-ups at heavyweight a little too much for me.

It will be interesting to see who they'll have Adamek fight. It has to be someone decent because it's going to be televised.

My assumption is that it won't be someone too risky, as they're likely aiming Adamek toward the winner of Jennings vs. Liakhovich. (win-win, it's either a respectable crossroads clash of two tried-and-true European heavyweight contenders who've both got the street cred of having vied for world titles, but who are at a point where they're desperate enough to need an NBC Sports date to stay in the mix - or their homegrown product against the popular Pole).

Someone who won't be upended by a strong breeze, but not a real danger either. Maybe McCall or Guinn? Or even Zack Page, although he doesn't have the name of the aforementioned two and is actually more of an upset risk...so nowhere near as attractive...

So obviously you've never been punched by a heavyweight.

Adamek has shown against even weaker HW's that his punch resistance is questionable.

I wish he'd rematch Grant or Arreola and prove to himself that he needs to move back down.:deal

Adamek moving down at this point would be worthless. It wouldn't be the same Adamek. He might as well retire if he was to move down.

I feel he is in this more for the money now, then anything else. I don't expect Mr. TBA to be a big or known name after the Klitschko fight. This will be more of a post loss fight imo.

  8. Still does not change the fact that it took 10 rounds to TKO the guy.

  9. Grant and Arreola both hit hard. Even Vitali said Arreola hit hard. Adamek has a good chin! It took 10 rounds for Vitali to put him away. Juan Carlos Gomez didnt last that long.

Jennings had only 17 amateur bouts, imo Liakhovich is too big a step up as of now. Hope i´m wrong though, would be great to see a young and confident lion emerging as a contender.

Vitali himself admitted he carried Adamek after round 2 to not embarass him in front of his homecrowd. It would sound like BS from any other fighter but I trust Vitali. He rocked Adamek BAD in round 2 and didn't go for the kill. Could've easily Kirk Johnson'ed him.

I love Jenning's willingness to take this fight, but it seems as though he should still be on Szpilka's ass for that fight on the Wach UC.

Supposedly Atrur had already signed to fight some 6-4 guy from Florida, but it wasn't inked, and now that guy has backed out. Jennings should be all over that one instead.

I'm afraid the solid beard and ring generalship of the WW MAY very well be too much for the full time janitor from Philly. Yeah, he's a gym rat, and has tons of heart, a solid chin, and punches well on the inside. He can match WW punch for punch all night, but I think Sergei might have just a bit too much grit for the young man.:think
