whom is he fighting? He must be in desperate need of money or has no concern for his health. He had to retire long ago...

He got caught cold and starched vs Wilder.

It was a quick, lights out KO, not the type that causes brain damage. To hear him speak, it's not as if he's punchy.

This is a local show vs the notorious TBA, likely a club fighter from the region. This is the type of fight Sergei needs to get himself healthy.

A couple of these lower level club fights, and he could market himself as a gatekeeper and earn some stack vs comebacking fighters and young prospects.:think

pff, yeah he won a belt and lost it to Shannon Briggs in his first attempted defense. His prime was a single fight, against Brewster....been shot since.

Wilder was the only man to KO the former world Heavyweight champion in that fashion...testament to Wilder power

Lets hope the White wolf is okay though, cause the way his legs were twitching was unhealthy least to say

That was one of the greatest heavyweight fights of ALL TIME! Liakhovich was a champion, and should have beaten Briggs..... Had that fight all but won :patsch

With that being said, I agree..... Liakhovich had a 1 night prime. Nothing to be ashamed of though.

What are you talking about? Harris put him out cold in 2002 during his prime. Briggs sent him out of the ring in his first defense of the belt.
Yeah, Wilder did a number on him when he was 37 and washed up.

    Go away, Sergei.

...unless the plan is to intercept Briggs in his comeback and rectify that embarrassment from eight years back. (when Liakhovich schooled Briggs only to huff, puff, and blow it literally at the last second)

That mission I could get behind. :yep

Anything else? Thinking about contending for titles? No way, Sergei. :bart Go away.
