And says he plans to fight again soon. division can use him, but we have heard this song before, haven't we?
Yeah...wasn't Universum angling towards a showdown between him an Chagaev when they paired them on that card a year ago? Obviously they never followed through...
dude has had 5 fights in 6 years 2 of those (LAST 2 ) fights vs Jeremy Bates 22 wins 16 losses Evans Quinn 18-3-1 ranled # 169 the guy aint serious about fighting.....obviously who up first.... Zack Page? give me a break white wolfy
I always liked Sergei. Hopefully he has enough left, and gets busy soon, cause he's tough as **** and can produce some excitement in the division before he hangs 'em up, if he's serious.
yes the while wofl is always in excting fights! He should target vitali klitschkos belt! Arreola is ranked number 3 by the wbc! i would like that fight very much
a bad year or 2 year layoff...but almost 2,000 days and you have 5 fights? does he have something better hes been doing in his free time? its on him....hes got to be at fault for wasting his prime....
For about 3 years when i was living in phoenix the white wolf "trained" out of the same gym I did on the east side. I saw him infrequently at the gym. I am not sure if he was training also somewhere else but I would wager he was not because when I saw him it wasnt really training. He was more or less just shooting **** with people and going through some light stretching. He wasnt in good shape by any standard. those of us who were just there to train for fitness and light sparring didnt think very highly of him. I guess it is hard to hold your intensity at a high level for a long time. i boxed for many years and never let myself get that sloppy and I was never at any thing resembling a world level.
Liakhovich is done, his prime consisted of 1 fight against Brewster. He had a good chance to make a comeback against Valuev but came in out of shape and was a living punching bag for Valuev. It was disgusting to watch. Tommie Brooks and a new promoter isn't going to help him at this point. He had a good trainer before and refused to listen to him after he won the belt. He would've never lost to Briggs if he would have just listened to his trainer and stayed away that 12th round. He wouldn't have kept the belt long anyway...but he wouldn't have lost it to Briggs. I'd say feed him to Povetkin or Dimitrenko or Pianeta or the like.....
