Not that it matters, but she'd ring them up accusing me of threatening her (we were still living together initially) etc and they'd instantly arrest me with absolutely no proof because her constant lies had managed to get a mark against the flat we had on their system. I ended up putting a complaint forward of harrasment and this is currently being dealt with in the hope I can get a restraining order. Not fun, but these things happen.

It was through her that I realised how shockingly easy it was to get someone arrested. Embarrassing really.

 

In a way your story is reassuring to me that the utterly useless police where I live are not unique when it comes to squandering taxpayers money...although I seriously doubt your lot could be as big a shower of wasters as ours! :good
