Was very impressed with how he beat Marc Leach for the British title. Big, and strong at the weight, good young boxer. I think he can go far, and I'd have him beating Mccann. What level do you think he'll get to.. World champ? european level or ?
This might sound stupid, but he reminds me of a bantam version of Carl Froch when he puts his punches together. He’s a very good kid, nice fighter to watch. Warren maybe onto something with him in Telford- he could become an attraction if he keeps winning. He’s supposed to be fighting Baluta in a good contest next for the Euro that Cunningham got stripped of after Tete. If he wins, then the Andrew Cain fight early next would be quite a big deal.
I like him. Marc Leach is a classy and tricky customer, and Davies beat him very handily. Let's see how he deals with Baluta, who is a handful, (assuming that fight goes ahead), but I fancy Liam again there.
