Shabaz Masoud actually joined Queensbury at the start of his career.

Frank Warren decided he wasn't good for TV and he was dropped by Queensbury.

Good performance by Masoud. Davies looked very crude and slow. The ref should've taken a point off from him for being dirty but Masoud held and spoiled like crazy all night when Davies trapped him in the corner and in the ropes and he was being very sneaky tying up Davies' arm to prevent him from working so the ref should've deducted a point from him too.

Can't believe one judge scored for Davies

Boxercise Ben will be so smug; fair play to Masoud though, I was sure he would gas and Davies would break him down but Masoud's gas tank held.

Well, looks like Davies can now go up to 126 because he's definitely not going to be in the belt picture at 122 for a while now regardless of Inoue.

You know, when a fighter is in close, and landing short shots to the body, those are scoring shots and they should get credit for them. Not sure why most of the people on this RBR, chose to ignore all of the inside work from him, which was the vastly superior of the two. I have no problem with Masoud winning the decision, but most of the last 8 rounds were close, with the Liam having an argument due to his volume. Also, the appalling amount of holding, Masoud should've been docked a few points.
