Liam Mark Smith vs. Christopher Livingstone Eubank Jr. II & Mark Heffron vs. Jack Cullen RBR.

What if Smith has jumped over the ropes entering the ring like Eubank did, his ankles and legs would have shattered into prehistoric dust.
The ref gave him a lot of time to recover from that kd too, he was shaky.
All in all, he talked big before the fight, most thought he'd win but now they are treating him like some zombie incapable of protecting himself. He just wasn't ready to deal with the adjustments Eubank made.

 

Yep, Gil Clancy once said, some fighters can enter the ring and age overnight. Smith looked like a very old 35 year old fighter to me.

 

Think they should do a 3rd fight in a year or so to end the rivalry. I’m still shocked about the 1st fight to be honest, expected it to look like this.

Jr boxed as good as I have seen him because he was fighting smart. He stuck to game plan very well. I think he looks terrible at the weight and should be fighting at 168. Looks too skinny boiled down.

Needs to fight for a strap asap, now or never

Eubank showed he is levels above the basic Smith, who is really British level and fringe European boxer. He put a wrong right and that is the best he could do. It was easy.

 

Eubank is British level.

 

I think Eubank beat a guy whose body is breaking down on him with glass ankles and a poor weight drain leaving him lethargic in the ring. Smith has a lot of skill and has beaten some fighters, needs to look at retirement.

When you look at it, Eubank lost to BJS, lost to Groves- the only two world level fighters he has faced in his prime.

For Eubank, the Benn fight must now be on for some serious money.

 

Smith was coming up in weight, so it is his fault if he was rotund and created this problem himself. Smith has beat not many good boxers. Please write the notable wins.

Smith is basic, no sophistication. Eubank is better.

 

You can make the same argument about Eubank Jr, other than beating a shot to bits De Gale (which does not count as an elite win)...What are his top 3 wins?

 

Nobody, but you just answered a question with a question. Who is claiming Eubank is something he is not? Many claimed Liam Smith is world level and should seek bigger fights than Eubank, but he was trounced.

 

If you listen to the instructions in the corner CEJ was boxing to Bomac’s instructions. After the first knockdown while hurt Smith was not yet ready to go so CEJ did the right thing to keep digging his grave. Must say I find Liam Smith annoying and glad he got his comeuppance. Don’t care for Paul Smith either but quite like Callum and Stephen.

 

I can't stand any of the Smith family. A bunch of British -> European level fighters that think they are far better than they really are.

 

I won’t say that about the whole family but 2 of the brothers Liam and Paul are insufferable idiots. They are not as good as they think they are for sure.
