Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn is surely a stadium fight outdoors for next summer. I could easily imagine Eubank Jr vs Golovkin in December 2023 or February 2024.

So you don’t want to see Eubank v Golovkin but want to see Golovkin v John Ryder? Behave mate

Sign me up for Eubank v GGG.

Eubank v GGG in the UK on Sky PPV does a lot of buys.

He wasn't himself but he was winning every minute of every round the first fight bar the miracle shot/elbow? Which one is it?

"Liam wasn't himself in the second fight due to weight cutting issues after a injury that sidelined him and injuring his ankle during the fight", what's good for the goose an all that. As I say I do think Eubank was below par the first fight because of some of those issues you mentioned.

Again though, the main point I was making is him beating a well below par and weight drained and injured Smith, whoever fault that is, isn't that impressive. And a shame cos I would love to see them go at it both fully fit and ready

I'd rather see Eubank vs Benn that's why. I also think Golovkin wants one final fight in Kazakhstan, I can't imagine Eubank agreeing to go over there.
Too risky. Ryder would beat him and it isn't a big enough fight for Eubank. I could see Eubank rematching Billy Joe Saunders on a Matchroom card on DAZN PPV too since Saunders is finally returning.

If Benn isn't cleared, Eubank will probably fight Brook on Sky PPV. Sad to see top fighters like John Ryder continuously ignored.

I know it's a self-fulfilling problem to an extent, but nobody knows who Ryder is. If he got exposure then that might change, but it's been a long time since his near-miss with Callum Smith and with Covid shutting down boxing soon after that fight, there wasn't much of a chance to capitalise. Shame as he's a very good fighter.

John Ryder has just fought Canelo in front of 60,000 people, I’d say he’s doing alright.

True and he went the distance with Canelo as well. Can't imagine Eubank Jr achieving that feat. Nor would Jnr stand a chance of beating Mundo Smith, and most thought Ryder did.

In short, Ryder is a better fighter than Eubank Jr.

Since when was that mutually exclusive? You can be winning and then get caught and have little punch resistance due to poor weight cut. Even eight years old boxing fan can tell this.

The state of Simon Jordan in this, criticising Eubank for not calling out the Light Middleweight champion Jermell Charlo. He hasn't a clue.

I disagree though he wasn't winning every minute of every round and not everyone is saying that, many just saying he wasn't right.

I think its being mentally exclusive to say that junior not being right had impact on his performance but Smith not being right had nothing to do with it and it's just junior being brilliant. Just have to agree to disagree on this one I think

I think you need to look up the definition of mutually exclusive and its applicability.

The double standards are hilarious mate. In summary what people now say is Eubank is allowed an off night/issues contributing to a poor performance and deserves a chance to rectify. The lad without the famous father and surname Smith doesn’t. Been saying this to everyone. The same idiots calling Eubank washed up are saying he can do anything now. He took 10 rounds to get rid of someone who had been fighting 2 weight divisions below his usual weight for his entire career. This someone was blatantly injured and weight drained to the point of it looked like he had a bad flu. You know the type when it hurts to just lie there and every body part is tingly and tender.

Now Smith’s good win is made out to be a fluke and the mythical elbow which apparently came after Eubank was halfway out from the straight right hand anyway. What a surprise no clamour for Smith to be able to have the decider. Let’s be honest Smith looked further off his usual self second time than Eubank did in the first one.
