20-18 Kurbanov not a lot to separate them until Kurbanov went a bit ham in the last 30 seconds, though he and his corner can suck a big one at Smith getting rough in a clinch he didn't initiate.

 

It's a weird one- Liam is clearly the most talented Smith but despite the Canelo fight, seems the most unheralded with the least hype behind him during his career

 

29-28 Kurbanov Smith had a bit of a comeback round; they landed about the same but Smith's activity carried the round.

38-38 Draw. Got hot and heavy at the end but Smith seemed to get the better of it (or why would Kurbanov clinch). Smith seems to have found his range.

 

Smith really starts to find the rythm he lacked in 1 & 2. Kurbanov already holding for dear life.

39-37 Smith.

 

48-47 Smith. Good round, but clearly controlled by the Brit.

Smith 4-1 in my opinion. If he doesn’t walk onto something in the next couple he’s stopping this lad.

 

There are levels in boxing and you can clearly see Kurbanov isn't world level at all. Solid domestic level in Russia and probably decent European level but Smith is a former World Champ for a reason. He's beating Kurbanov up now.

 

Smith rocked heavily at the end.

Caught Smith with a huge right at the end of the round

 

57-57 Draw. Great comeback round from Kurbanov, fighting off the backfoot and not getting tagged, then hurting Smith at the end. The replay there only confirms that the first knockdown was legit.
