Australia desperately needs to import some coaches from Japan or ex Soviet countries. It's getting ridiculous at this point - again and again we see an Aussie with an ATG level win on his record haplessly plodding after a guy who has mesmerized him with the unfathomable sorcery of a jab. Because Australia produces an endless list of good fighters, but almost no good boxers. Such a waste of maybe the best talent pool in the world.

 

Aussies don’t quit lad they will be back meanwhile Opetaia is still the cruiser weight king.

Paro is a perfect example of how boxer punchers do well against pressure fighters but bad against pure boxers

I hate to break it to you, but Kostya is ex Soviet and it still didn't work.

 

To be fair, most good boxers fail to make good trainers. So he might not be the best example.

 

No one cares. Paro was just another fly by night & Hitchins is just another US stinker. Well done u for picking a fight correctly

 

Don't be salty, my man!

While I am not a Hitchins fan by any means, he landed enough stiff jabs and hard rights to keep Paro off balance and out of rhythm. Hitchins will trouble any of the top 140lbers.

On an unrelated note, what do you think of Brit prospect Giorgio Visioli? I like the kid a lot.
