Not hiring a stadium and using PPV. It is limiting the fans and reducing the exposure. Putting Froch on Wossy is great, but I doubt many casuals are going to buy the fight. It's pointless generating all this publicity if punters are reluctant to pay for the fight.

If it was on SKY Sports 1, I believe it would do at least 1 million viewers.

Yes it will do well. In terms of where boxing is today it will be a huge success. However, this could a have been a super-fight that really reached the casual viewer.

For me something doesn't feel right. This seems like a missed opportunity.

The fighters are not getting paid that much. PPV wasn't necessary.

Sky would not pay enough to make fight work numbers wise. His msny more tickets would have had to be sold in stadium just to get same gate numbers as average ticket price would have been much less!
