I really don't understand this match up ?

Its a lose lose situation for Smith.

If he wins, he beat an old way past his best Mosley.

If he gets beat, he was embarrassed by an old way past his best Mosley.

 

Not really. He's not amongst the elite of 154. Mosley of 6-7 years ago would have destroyed him. But Shane will lose now.

 

I like Mosley late career, he is doing the best he can do, he is still a contender (fringe) at this stage of his life, nevertheless a contender with a real chance to become a champion.

The drug test bias needs to stop, all contenders who have to move in weight classes (bulking) or aged boxers (faster recovery) need these supplements. The money making drug testing agencies need to make a deal where their tests are still mandatory for research so they still make money...etc & they stop sabotaging fights & no longer need to manipulate the misinformed fans to enforce their taxation

All contenders need supplements, only the top paying can afford "legal" supplements

 

People will watch because of Mosley's name value, it should be an easy fight and Smith will be more well known than. Not really a lose-lose

He needs a legend coming of a win on his resume. Win or Loss he gets a rematch

Is there really a lot of people out there who want to see Liam Smith fight a ridiculously shot Shane Mosely.

There were people who said Mosely was past it when he fought Mayweather and thats over 5 years ago and a few severe beatings ago.

 

Just a ridiculous match.

Mosley has managed to talk himself into a title shot on Twitter if this happens - he's not even top 20 at the weight.

 

Probably not even top 50
