    Jones is a good gatekeeper level test. If Brook hadn't taken the fight, he may have missed an important learning curve about fight preparation before he reached world champion- and thus may never have actually reached it.

    smith should win this, don't know why jones isn't having a rematch vs b rose on the bham card this Saturday, as that would be interesting after first fight,
