    The amount of people on twitter "great test" etc.

    Just shows how dumb the casual fan is.

    This is one of them where the odds of it going horrifically wrong are just far too high.

    Dave Allen in his peak was crap let alone now.

    Other than Wardley and Adelayde who else on the domestic scene could Clarke have fought?

    Not many other options out there. Hughy Fury seems to have fallen off a cliff. Jonny Fisher is still a few levels below Dave Allen. Gorman doesn’t look to be boxing. Matty Harris got flattened last week.

    Granted I think Dave should have took a couple of fights first to get in to swings. Some bin man; and then someone like Lovejoy.

    Strange fight for Allen can only be doing it for some money. Clarke hasn't been overly impressive but he's active and that counts for a lot.

    When was the last time Allen fought? Even then his faculties were gone. This purely for a “name”. Dragged him out of retirement with a bag of cash and will get beat in to (more of a) cabbage.
