    Round 1 Hughes 10-9
    Round 2 Hughes 10-9, close
    Round 3 Davies 10-9, close
    Round 4 Hughes 10-9, close
    Round 5 Hughes 10-9

Joe walked him down pushing the pace, outworking him, then lands a hard one two that rocks Davies, they go head to head, toe to toe, smothering each others work.

Heading into the 6th, Macklin has the same scorecard as I do. That's troubling..... But for once he's right.

Back to close quarters combat, Je rolling with most of Davies work, landing left hooks over the top. Davies stands his ground grits his teeth and outworks him down the stretch, landing nice body shots.

Robbie controlling he range much better, keeping Joe at the end of his jab through, peppering him with one twos. Clearest round yet.

Close round, but Rbbie's output and pressure early edges it, but Joe closed stronger.

Razor close 9th, neither man doing much, Joe with the cleaner work by a hair.

Davies swept the last three IIRC, all I saw the first time around was half of the 9th and the last three. So I'll just add them on this card.

    115-113 Davies

    114-114 is fine as well.

Boxstats.co show Hughes landed more scoring punches in 9 out of the 12 rounds with one even and Robbie only winning 2.. Boxing news, Boxing monthly were sat ringside along with Jonny Nelson Karl Froch and Eddie Hearn who all had Hughes winning. Lewis Ritson recently commented that he was sat ringside with 9 matchroom fighters who all had Hughes winning. These are boxing savvy people. Your analysis is appreciated but your assessment is in disagreement with the vast Majority who had Hughes winning.
