Brook was a shame. The lack of activity, questionable lifestyle and the beggy attitude towards Khan.

Brook could have been a special fighter. His timing, speed and shot selection were all brilliant. Unfortunately he was managed terribly. His step dad was his ‘manager’ and he wasn’t a boxing man at all. Should have moved to 154 in 2015/16.

Whilst he performed admirably, throwing him in with Golovkin was ridiculous… fooked his eye up and then he had to absolutely kill himself to go back down in weight for the Spence fight.

 

Hearn should take some blame here, but I think if Brook had dethroned Devon Alexander instead of the fight being cancelled 3 times then things could have been different.

seemed like an eternity back then, desperate enough to be thrown into a cash out bonanza way above your weight class. nowadays it’s nothing. Jermall Charlo is a current champ and he’s been sat on the couch for two years

Wikipedia states; "Zeuge [regular champion] relegated to secondary champion after George Groves and Fedor Chudinov fought for the vacant Super title." The WBA must've forgotten the point of their own "Super title".
