Smith sparred Brook. I don't think he would fancy facing him unless he gets a ridiculous offer.

When was that, bud? Brook is definitely the more skilled but a lot as changed for Brook in the last couple of years in terms of durability.

Kel is the better boxer I don’t think anyone disputes that but his face and heart have been destroyed by Golovkin and Spence.

Pre GGG & Spence, I would have favoured Brook. However, 2 fractured eye sockets later and I hate to use the word ‘quit’ because he had to for his long term health, but it demonstrated imo that a war is the last thing he needs at this stage of his career.

As someone mentioned earlier, Smith vs Heffron would be nice.

In the build up to Spence fight twenty. Some of it was showed on Sky, were both had their moments word was rife Brook outclassed him overral, if that's true or not i dont know. But someone like Liam Smiths strength is when a fight is gruelling and long and lets face it that doesnt seem Brooks strength.

I can see him being offered another world title shot on the back of that performance, if he stays at 154. Your Hurds and Charlos would see Smith as a perfect keep busy voluntary defence in the future .

Smith has apparently left Joe Gallagher and will be announcing his next fight soon.

I’ve said it since he turned pro but I’d love to be in the Echo for Smith giving Fowler a hiding in a derby.

    Fowler needs that rematch though.
