He's a good all round fighter who'd been poorly promoted by Wazza and has been stuck at commonwealth level for years and inactive.

About time He got either a european title shot or a world title eliminator so we can see how good he really is....

Frank gave him a shot at Burns for the WBO but Walsh had the car accident and as we know had to pull out - Liam has also had alot of injury problems....how exactly has Frank done a poor promotional job??

This time 2 years ago he was lined up to fight Ricky Burns in a world title fight, think he was involved in a car crash or something like that which unfortunately for him meant he had to pull out.

Since then he's fought Harrison, Joe Murray & Sykes which ain't bad fights but he's been a pro for a good few years now and is 28 years old, the SFW division is hardly on fire at the moment so I'd like to see him look to kick on in 2015.

Hopefully he can put the injury problems behind him now.

Walsh turned Pro 2008. Commonwealth title in 2010, and only picked up the British last month. Apart from injuries wasted time with the WBO European Belt and has been very inactive.

    Lee Selby turned pro 2008. British/Commonwealth 2011. European 2014

    Josh Warrington turned pro 2009. Commonwealth 2013. British/European 2014

Yeah he is a good kid - as you say let's hope he stays fit and I'm sure Frank will back him and move him
Along towards some type of title shot
