Liam Walsh v Harrison

think walsh takes this.harrison looked seriously shot last time out and sooner or later the life he has led has to catch up with him.

Cant judge harrisson on his glory days have to judge on the here and now.Even as one poster said if walsh does fade who to say with the ten rounds harrison has had on his comeback he has anything in tank to take advantage.

 

With less than three weeks to go, this match-up is much better than what I was expecting.

 

Im chuffed with this news, scotty is in the shape of his LIFE, training like a demon & I honestly think he will give Walsh a pasting. Credit to Walsh though for taking on Scotty, poor fella dont know what hes let himself in for, wait & see:smoke

 

mean no disrespect when i say this but ricky hatton got himself in shape of his life for senchenko and we know what happened there.

have seen nothing in ten rounds against limited opposition to say scott is anything like what he used to be.walsh by ko.

Apples is a good wee fighter with a big heart, but Scotty floored & KO'd world level opposition, im sure even apples himself would admit he couldnt have KO'd the guys a prime scotty did.

well, this is the fight thats gonna answer all our questions about what Scottys got left, thats for sure. As for Ricky, his head was so ****ed up with depression he was in no fit mental state for a comeback. He got in shape, but his head was full of self doubt. Add to that Ricky was a rich man, he didnt need to leave it all in the ring.

scotty has his own demons, but depression & self doubt aint two of them! Scotty lives to fight, & wants what he sees as rightfully his back. & thats his WBO world title. Hes a man on a mission:smoke

 

It's far more likely he'll go to jail though isn't it?

 

I agree with everything Dunky has had to say. Lets remember Ricky and his team agreed to fight Walsh for a world title fight, so surely if scott beats him (which he will) they cannot claim that Scott is not good enough to fight Ricky, Or will it be more excuses like with Bronor. If Scott passes a big test like Walsh will Ricky then fight him next Billy?

He was brutal in his last outing and is currently appealing a 4 year jail sentence. He's finished one way or another.

 

Billy you were doing the pads for Scott when he was a featherweight, he's now a lightweight, not having to starve himself to make weight, so he will hit harder than before. And like Dunky said Scott knocked out world class opponents Paul would never have knocked out in his dreams. Scotts body punches are brutal.

 

Genuinely hope your right mate but you know comebacks and boxing rarely work out.Will be there so hope its a cracking fight.

 

Shape of his life my arse. He might appear to have a six pack but what happens when he goes past the sixth round and Walsh is digging in the body shots, he'll soon cave in.

Then he can go back to drinking buckfast and robbing crisps from Tesco's.

 

I hope it is and that you get to see it mate.Wont be convinced its coming off till they're both in the ring.Agree totally about comebacks.At their peaks my money would have been on Harrison,but even without his troubles and layoffs,he may have been ready to be taken by a young hungry fighter like Walsh.
