Nothing in mitchell to suggest he is miles better than Walsh, he has failed consistantly at world level/fringe world level. If Ricky seen Walsh good enough for a world title and scott beats him, he cannot be a couple of opponents of proving he is worthy of a world title fight.

Walsh is a novice, looks a very good one. Not slagging him, but he has only had 13 fights, but Scott was at similar stage when he beat Johnson and patterson so this could be fight to propel Walsh, and when he loses people will say well that was against a world class two times world champion, so it wont do him any harm.

I believe the winner of this will have a world title fight, or at least a mandatory fight organised by ******. Fair does not against Ricky, but there are other world titles, and remember Broner will properly vacant his.

I did read that he said that. However in a way he is right. Walsh is a good fighter but he is still a Novice.

I accept that you have to say certain things and I accept that Ricky would probably not have picked him.

But at the time you were happy for Ricky to defend against him so if Harrisson does a job on him you will have to accept that it gives him a little to shout you out with.

It still remains to be seen if he will win. I am going to be there and am very much looking forward to it.

Not trying to bait you as some do on here but I do think you tend to contradict a little.

I don't buy the whole Broner is suddenly superman arguement either (obviously not from you). Everyman can be beat and I think Ricky may have to tools. Just requires a sound game plan. Even then that is no guarantee as he does look very good.

    Certainly be good to watch.

As ive said we wanted bigger opponents than liam(with respect) and under no circumstances does the winner deserve to become mandatory.
Mitchell would beat Liam and Rees would beat Mitchell and I think at this stage they all beat Scott.
Even if Scott or Liam become mandatory Ricky is fighting his mandatory next so he'd have at least 2 voluntarys and unifications superseded mandatory challengers,so taking that into account there could be a long long wait.

I'm not contradicting myself at all,I said Liam would be a good challenger but that's all Ricky would have stopped him comfortably IMO.
Ricky wasn't keen on the fight as I say he wanted bigger challenges but that's who was getting put in front of him and he had to deal with it.
no way should the winner of this fight become anywhere near mandatory for Ricky's title but eh if they are they're Ricky beats both no problem

Moog you said it yourself Kevin failed twice at WORLD LEVEL however this fight is for a domestic fight and I've no doubt Kevin beats both Liam and Scott

No chance anyone with a glass jaw would beat Scott. He throws to many hard shots not to knock someone like Mitchell out. Ricky showed the way to beat him, high pressure on front foot, with hard punches. It was Harrison like tactics to be honest, as like ricky was, scott is far more powerful than mitchell.

It the UK we have Harrison, Rees, Walsh an Mitchell all lightweights, and Scott is fighting Walsh. Would it not be a good idea for Mitchell to fight Rees, and the winner of that could fight the winner of Scott/Walsh in a world title eliminator. Would pitch a ******/Hearn final eliminator to add interest.

Billy who do you think would Win out of Mitchell and Rees ?

Would love to see Harrison do a number but can't see it. He looks miles of the pace and a shadow of his former self.

Hope he proves me wrong!! Seems to be getting milked for a few quid as a shot name.

I disagree with you again Moog, I don't know we're your getting Scott a power puncher he's isn't,strong yes.
Ricky beat Kevin with Speed, power and strength. Scott possesses only one of those attributes strength.
