Come on pal abyelan was ****,forget Ethiopians name,Brodie was shot,Paterson was a very good performance but he was old,of coarse you never mentioned polo very dodgy,mc curl loch was only a blown up SBW,Hussein never came to fight and that for me was Scott's second worse performance.theres loads of holes to pick but the bottom line is Ricky's going to get better and better Scott has done what he's done.
I said 2 years ago Ricky could become Scotland best ever fighter a few laughed behind my back there not all laughing now are they, and before you say it Ricky has eclipsed what Scott done

    Yeah! You tell him!!!

I still maintain he didn't progress as a fighter after winning the WBO belt. Burns is better than Harrison ever was. He'd get stomped by Broner, but other than that he'd be strongly competitive against everyone else at 135.

Billy your some salesman, don't know why Ricky needs Hearn with you about ! Ricky has fought 2 fringe world class fighters in Martinez and Kastidas, that's all. I agree scott was not at best against hussein, think in his last few fights at featherweight he looked weight drained, but showed his quality to come through them without defeat. Its like you said before walsh wasn't worthy of fighting Ricky, never noticed you and Ricky say that when you's agreed to take fight, and no doubt you would not have when it came to taking the fans hard earned money. How many world or ex world champs has Ricky beat ? Less than half of what scott done by the age of 26 ! I actually rate Ricky, its the bums he fights that I cannot stand ! Its like Bute, being protected. Take a lead out of Carl Froch and get him in with the best. I for one would have more respect for Ricky if he went in with Broner, even if he came up short (which he would unless he caught Broner cold, as is a slow starter in first couple of rounds).

I will congratulate him if he beats a good champ, I hope he does, really do. So 3 world champs, half of Scott by time he was 3-4 years younger than Ricky is just now. If I were to work out how many title challengers scott beat, added to world champions it would be a lot more than double ricky. Did scott now win british title at 21, commonwealth at 22, and by 23 had beat 3 world champs, and won a world title against Chacon a good fighter at 25, how many british boxers ever done that ? I am cerrtainly not a Burns hater, seems a nice guy, is scottish and YES he is most improved boxer in UK, but I hate seeing him fight british class fighters like Mitchell - who is so overrated it is untrue - he's a blown up SF who has a glass jaw

What Scott done was great nobody his arguing that the difference being its not going to be improved upon, unlike Ricky he will continue to beat those put in front of him.
what your forgetting Moog is everything Scott achieved I was instrumental in it,I know how good he was but Ricky is better and by a good wee bit and I'm the only person who can truly judge that!

You certainly played a big part with Scott, but your loyalty is with Ricky, and your his main trainer instead of assistant trainer so you are obviously proud that you created Ricky as the main man instead of deputy. And as I have said he's the most improved boxer in Britain so you deserve enormous credit for that, and if he improves by the same margin in coming years as in last few you may have a point, but to do that he needs to go in with the best. Scott was a champ in the most competitive weight I have ever seen, as I say Marquez, Chi, Moralas, barrerra, Pac man were all the same weight . If ricky can fight cook - sorry stand in ring with him, he just feel over, after 2-3 years without a fight and fact he never beat anyone of note in his career to my knowledge he should fight scott, fair play if he doesn't want to earn a huge payday, and cement his legacy, as I think that scott will win a world title still (if he stays out of jail - big if unfortunately).

Nicky cook lol the guy had a broken back. Burn's was Mitchel's first world title challenge. Moses was smashed by Acosta.

Suspiciouschees Kevin Mitchell and challenge at world level in same sentance, lol. Guy has never challenged anyoner at that level, has a glass jaw, he's had 2 top levelish fights v ricky and kastidas and has not lasted 7 rounds over both fights. After kastidas donw him in 3 rounds Ricky should never have fought him, as guy never deserved shot at title, but then again £150k or so to beat up a british class fighter with a glass jaw is good work for a world class fighter to have.

Kevin Mitchell would be a good fight for the winner of Liam v Scott what do you think?
Realistically i cant see eithier fighting for the world title again or at least till ricky moves up to LWW.
I've always said Gavin Rees v Kevin Mitchell would be a good fight as well.
