Can't wait for this one, could be one of the fights of the year IMO. I will be at the copper box on saturday so I will definitely be rooting for Walsh & I think he could upset the odds and pull it out of the bag, I do think a lot of people are sleeping on Walsh on this one, expecting Davis to blast him out with ease. Walsh is a very underrated fighter.

The only test that Davis has had is Pedraza, and whilst he did pass the test with flying colours, i do believe Walsh is a much better fighter than Pedraza.

After the way Floyd and his circus behaved yesterday i'd love to see Walsh do a number on Davis. Classless foul mouthed scum, with absolutely no idea how to conduct themselves.

Tbf Pedraza didnt seem his usual self in that fight and im not just talking about the weight drained excusehe came up with.
I think Pedraza did the ultimate sin in boxing that night and overlooked Davis, he then paid the ultimate price.
Much like Davis is doing now with Walsh

If Mayweather is halting Davis' public workouts to correct him, the lad needs to get away quickly. This could be a very close run thing. Pedraza landed pretty regularly when he got Davis to the ropes. That said, you'd not want have a huge bet on Liam in all honesty. Davis may only have one win at world level, but it's one more than Walsh.

Watched a little bit of walsh this week. Hes sort of been the forgotten man of british boxing...at one point he was on the verge of a big breakthrough. Probably just with not having boxnation. But he is pretty good. Again not seen a lot of davis think they pulled the fight with pedraza from youtube just seen him against inferior opposition but he does look very good. One things for sure...the walsh fight will tell us everything we need to know about davis. Cause cant see anyone getting a free ride with him. Think hes got the perfect style to beat davis just think levels will play a part in it. But its probably not a fight davis is needing at this point. Its a great test but could easily backfire. Giving away home advantage. Less experienced in a pro ring as walsh. You dont always know how he,ll react especially that he doesnt seem that all there imo. Hes been made to look a fool from floyd pretty much the whole week. Even the small things hes contributed to the build ups made him look a bit of a clown. Quite nasty with it as well.

Would love to see walsh pull it off...think davis will be too good in the end tho and get the stoppage.

I thought Pedraza looked out of sorts that night, and when he kept mentioning the weight issues afterwards i thought there may have been some truth in it, but as you say it could have simply been complacency.

Not sure that Davis is looking past Walsh, but Floyd is doing his best to try and convince him to look past Walsh.

Failed weigh in could also indicate sloppy preparation, lets hope so.

Just me but...looks to me like davis is a ticking timebomb waiting to happen. Doesnt look to me like a streetkid...more a kid suffering from being exposed to abuse from a young age. He needs professional help by the looks of things...and the last person you d want helping is mayweather and his gang.

Kid has little chance of succeding imo...he will go off the deep end at one point weather he succeeds or not. Still think mayweathers trying to jeopardize him. Cant handle anybody getting the attention hence the over compensating making it look like hes doing everything for davis. Its a mask hes put on to try and show it doesnt bother him.

Wouldnt surprise me if he wants to get to a position where davis fails so he can treat him badly. Because its the sort of thing that makes him feel good. Dont think davis is the only one in need of professional help tbh.

Davis defo looks unhinged. There's something quite scary about him, so quiet and gentle on the face of it but he's like a pitbull. He erupted earlier this year in a confrontation with ate in Farmer outside the ring.

I think it will be a close fight but Davis wins by KO mid to late rounds

Had actually just watched that video mate. Then seen a video of mayweathers team taking him round looking at cars this weekend. He genuinely looked so alone even though he was surrounded by people. Its a tough sport. People that do it come from all walks of life etc. But the kid genuinely looks like theirs something not quite right. As you said unhinged. And yet so quietly spoken etc. Looks like a lost soul to me. Definetely looks on the surface that its a bit more than most of these boxers that claim they we,re brought up in the tough streets of philly etc.

Hard knock life etc...more like an abused kid. Thats been left with mental scarring...thats needing adressed by a proper professional as opposed to mayweather and his cronies.

Hes a talent though regardless. Think he,ll have too much for walsh.

Davis actually gassed in the middle of the Pedraza fight and looked like he was going to be stopped, people seem to forget this when they say he beat him easily.

I think if Walsh can take this late he will win.
