    Cool Fella's

Am i the only one who's really looking forward to this fight? I can't see how it fails to entertain.

Walsh has looked good in recent showings but also showed some weaknesses in his last defence against Jon Kays when looking to in control seemed to allow Kays a bit to much success when he should of closed show much much earlier. Appleby took the domestic scene by storm but since being over matched IMO against Lindsay hasn't really got going and his career's stagnated and with the stewardship of Billy Nelson he looks to reignite his career on Friday.

Commonwealth Title on the Line but also a huge fight for both's future and ambitions within the sport. For Walsh there's a way back and many factors could be attributed to a loss where as Appleby has to win and anything else barring a bad decision leaves him in the boxing wilderness.

So ESB with that i ask you to pick your Blueprint to Victory and also who wins this fight and progress onto bigger things?

    Liam Walsh

    Cheers Pal.

Walsh will have success and Appleby likes to tear up i can only see excitement. Wonder what Billy's done with Appleby this is a far harder assignment then Layrea let's be honest but maybe the mindset of Appleby and back to basics approach may help him.

hope being with Nelson has helped him as Paul clearly has talented. I just think he is mentally scarred after being schooled by an afrobum and being knocked out by Lindsay tbh. Hope he can prove me wrong because the Walsh brothers are complete twats. I agree though it will be action packed and there styles will gel perfectly.

 another one who don't like the Walsh's. What they done? i can't take to them either although Liam seems alright from what i seen.

Btw you make good points about Paul and the Lindsay fight was just about £££ IMO. He got sold to the dog's that night in Belfast..

I honestly cant see how Appleby can be as bad as Lareya again. I really rated him heading into the Lindsay fight. Hes so young , he cant have just become bad. He still beat John Simpson, close and all as it was, and bad fighters couldnt do that. I hope Appleby can rediscover his form and gain a pts win, but thats my heart. Havent seen enough of Walsh to really make an educated stab at it

:rofl I don't mind Liam either but his fans and one of his brothers is a complete twat. That is enough for me to hope he gets beat

Totally agree about that night in Belfast being about the money. He was promoted wrongly i feel.

I was a big Appleby fan, but watching him against Laryea was embarassing. I agree with you the talent has to still be there.

But for his last fight I'd say Appleby all day long but he looked absolute garbage after the first couple of rounds....I'll go with the "form" fighter and say Walsh pts.

Appleby has always failed to move his head. For me thats the most important thing Billy has to sort out

    Paul Appleby via stoppage.

Cant see Walsh going 12 hard rounds with an onform Appleby.

An onform Appleby (+ Billy N) is surely gonna be something to witness......

Laryea was an obvious off night.

Im going to completely disregard applebys last performance now hes switched trainer and hopefully sorted his head out. Billy seems to be able to get the best out of his fighters and this one will be very competitive. I have Appleby taking a tight pts decision.
