Liam Williams Next Fight

Just seen he’s been up in the ingle gym training with Billy Joe. Flanagan always popping up there too. Could get a decent stable together up there.

 

Where does Williams really go I mean losing to someone as basic and easy to read as Smith tells you he isn't going past domestic level

 

The 2nd fight was strange . Williams seemed to get stage fright.

 

He just isn't as good as people thought he was or his like price after losing is mentally gone

 

He’s basic but he’s pure heart and fight. He’s a former world champion and soon could well be a two time world champion. He’s not the most blessed fighter on these shores but he certainly deserves more credit and respect than he gets.

 

Williams really disappointed me with his performance in the rematch with Smith.

 

Williams is a regular up in Sheffield sparring with Brook normally. Good Euro level fighter. Seems a nice lad wish him well in his next fight.

 

Who did he win the title from and defend it against lol his up there as worst championship run and if the move up in weight makes Ali more durable then he makes Smith look foolish

 

He would be two time world champion already if he had made weight against Liam Williams!

You can only fight what’s infront of you. If you’ve got a problem with that then take it up with Frank Warren and the WBO, they’re the ones making these rankings and fights.

 

It's a joke it should have been a British title fight not a world title fight and lol that heartless guy he won the title from and the title fights lol something does have to be done

 

It was #1 and #3 in the WBO rankings weren’t it? Of course it was going to be a world title fight as opposed to a British title fight. Say what you want about Smith but he’s only lost one fight and that was to Canelo.

 

That trash he won the title off trout Was number one then some how got removed from the rankings then he got lucky when the next guy pulled out of the fight and he would have probably beats him lol that guy he beat was terrible completely heartless and no way he should have been anywhere near the top 10 something stunk about the whole thing

 

Can't believe he let Smith get in his head and ruin him .

He did little in that fight. Smith played the seed and let it go. Not a solid mentality to have in boxing . He can be unsettled quite easily . Corcoran managed to do it as well fairly easily .

He was the talent just needs to sort his head out

 

If ‘basic’ is an aggressive pressure fighter with a quality jab & solid fundamentals...then i’ll take Liam Smith all day long. He must be awful to have to fight & there’s no shame losing to him. Williams would have learned a lot about himself from that last fight especially.
