Good point, yeah he shouldn't have lost to Smith but he's looked much better at middleweight, I think he's a gun and will prove it, this time around if he can land a big fight.

But let's be honest, just the fact that Keeler is fighting Andrade and a quality performer like Williams is sitting on the sidelines watching it, shows how ****ed up this sport has become!

I agree with you that Williams is better than Keeler but Williams hasn’t done much to earn a title shot himself. It’s a tough one for him and whoever said in the thread earlier that he’s in the “who needs him club” was spot on.

Williams is certainly the better fighter but in terms of power...…. I'm not so sure. Spike for all of his limitations can bang. Could be wrong here, but I'm sure Billy Joe once said he hit him harder than anyone he's been in with.

The win against Arias isn't bad and has shown that he's at least improved since getting stopped by Tom Doran but Luke Keeler is never and will never be an elite fighter and he hasn't done enough to deserve this shot. Eubank jnr must be kicking himself looking at the state of this.

Williams will likely challenge the winner of Keeler Andrade. So get ready for Keeler v Williams!!
    :) :)
Seriously Luke is better than he’s being given credit for. Andrade is a nightmare style to face though. The worst!

Really, I wasnt aware of that. Especially in the Eubank fight, he should have been able to walk feather fists down and land something of note if he did pack that power!

Everyone high on Williams and I get that, but let’s not forget he has X2 losses to B rate ex champ beefy.

ok it was at 154 but still doesn’t sit all that well with me, Munguia handled beefy handily

Williams is an absolute savage at Middleweight, he'd smash Munguia's head in. His style is literally a nightmare for him, I can actually visualize all those lunging right crosses sending Ogre Sarah Silverman careening all around the ring, but not only is Liam better on the outside he's far better on the inside the Mungles. If a straight right doesn't get him, he'd to get chopped down with a vicious hook to the head.

Whether they carry power or not, I don't think many people are walking Eubank Jr down, particularly at Middleweight - he's a strong kid.

Spike rocked Junior with a great shot in that fight. Apart from Groves, I’ve never seen Junior hit as hard as that but to be fair to him, he absorbed it and recovered very quickly. Also, Junior isn’t feather fisted, he was just never a true 168 and the worst possible way to fight him is to try and walk him down. Most would come off second best doing that.

I really like Williams, but I think this is going a bit too far. Liam needs a few high level wins first. Munguia has size, a great engine, and a granite chin. Williams might best him but I wouldn't count on it just yet. For all his flaws he is a tough nights work for most people.
