I am a big fan of hard fighters with hard chins who punch hard. Who would win, if these two such fighters fought?
I think Andrade is over-rated. Just my opinion, but he was outclassed by Kessler, and I have always felt Froch would be in with a shout against Kessler, with the Dane having a slight edge. He can punch a bit, but his opposition has been less than stellar thus far (much like Frochy) - I just fancy Carl to do the bizzo.
Froch has power for sure but not enough I feel to be able to hurt Andrade, the man's got a chin made of granite. He needs to box in this one but he just can't do that. He's got a good chin though but I think Andrade hurts him and outworks Froch to a UD.
I am not a fan of Carl, and to be honest he would get outworked badly in this one. He is very open and looks for one shot most of the time from open positions, he has a good chin therefore he would not be stopped with one shot. But I just think that the workrate of Andrade would be far too much for Carl.
Ive watched a lot of Froch fights and their would be things that worry me about him fighting Andrade. Firstly he carries his left hand way too low and someone on a better level than hes used to like Andrade will punish him for that all night long. Secondly i think he relies on his power too much which again he can do against lower rated fighters but Andrade has an iron chin and just seems to walk through people. I think after 8 or so rounds of Andrade taking whatever Froch throws Andrade overwhelms him for a TKO stoppage.
I am not so sure about the left hand, it does spend too much time attached to his banger, but perhaps this would change as his competition level improves, maybe :think
Nah I think he just thinks he is better than he is and can afford to do that. He does have a chin though.
I think he'll be complacent with it, its been alright so far his career so..... he seems like that type of guy.
All will be revealed I suppose, with the left hand - as will everything else with regard to Froch and his ability.
The reason Andrade can take all those huge punches is because he is the best in the world at riding with those punches, so he usually doesn't take anything like the full impact. If you add a very hard chin on top of that, Froch's advantage doesn't seem that great, against Andrade. If Froch can stop Andrade, who is so relentless and on top of you, he can stop anyone surely, especially since Froch likes to take it easy a lot of the time and bully his opponents at his own pace, at his own initiative. Since he cannot outwork Andrade either, I can only see this going one way. Andrade stops Froch because Froch doesn't ride the punches, doesn't move his head or provide anything special in terms of defence. If Andrade doesn't feel under pressure to stop Froch, he outworks him to a confortable points decision, in my view.
