(Bute will have a great sparring partner for the Andrade fight in Diaconu)

(Think that if Andrade doesn't KO Bute in the first 2-3...Bute wins)

If Bika wins, is Andrade will still fight Bute ?

My first thought is that if Bika uses his athleticism and fitness to stay out of trouble in the first 3-4 rounds, he's got a decent chance to win on points.

Highly incorrect, Andrade wears guys down in accumulation of pressure and workrate, rarely just gets an early KO.

He's dangerous late when you're tired and he's still coming like he was in round 3.

i think bika has a pretty decent chin he has that survival savy few fighters have.
i believe been dropped by coddrington
andrade got knocked down by mack

its strange becuase neither have a supreme advantage over each other.

reach niether are going to use, hieght andrade comes foreward so he doesnt use it as effectivly, both throw just as many punches per round niether are technicians this is a really good fight i cant really pin it.

but i would pick bika just becuase he is more accomplished against world level people

Oh, right...isn't he less accurate after the first couple of rounds, and slower? (Bika is also very good at moving his head out of range pretty fast and can take a hit) :think

    :good

It's amazig what getting beaten by Joe Calzaghe does for your career!

Sakio Bika is a nondescript fighter!

I don't agree with most of you guys, I see Bika as a rough and nasty fighter who as the will to go all the way in the ring to reach is goal. Head butts are so frequent that they almost count as much as another fist. If Andrade doesn't get rid of him by 4-5, he will feel frustration against this akward style of agression and he will try to land big time....

This will open his defence and he will end-up face down on the canvas for a savage K.O. around the 9th.

Bika gave JC and Bute all kinds of problems, so I can't see how Andrade can last the whole fight standing, unless he is much better than I first saw. He came to Montreal to fight an aging Otis Grant a couple years back and I wasn't impressed....even if he fought Kessler who may be the overated guy in the SMW.... we will see the real picture soon!!!!

    Go Bute!!

Wow! I am surprised Sugar Ray is allowing this one but it should be a great fight. I guese if I had to pick it would be Andrade by either a nudge or TKO.

Bika by surprisingly easy UD. Bika doesn't have a glass chin like Yusef Mack. Bika's not a great boxer, but he's significantly better than the grossly overrated Andrade.

I wanted to say Bika by Ud..I just got a feeling he could put him down and out...Bika has come strong as of late

I think Bika will win this one. If not, I'd like to see Bute against Andrade. It would choose Bute to win. Andrade is too predictable, Bute has a very good stamina and moves all his body (hands, head and feet) too fast for Librado.

A little yes - but Andrade is there for 12 rounds none stop. I also picked Andrade - but it's a close one sure.

I just don't think Bika is good enough to take that kinda pressure for 12 rounds - Andrade on a late TKO.

So why has Bika picked this fight? He had many more options than Andrade, after Contender? It must have been him who picked his opponent, rather than the other way around...he is nuts, sure, we can all see that, but he sure ain't stupid...he must think he can and will win...:think
