Librado Andrade Vs Lucian Bute ????

it should be confirmed shortly, ive heard some talk of the fight coming off

 

I have heard rumours of this matchup not too long ago, so I guess this pretty much confirms it. The way I had heard it though was that Bute would fight someone else on that date, and Andrade a few months later. Maybe it will be in February though, should be a pretty good fight. I go with Bute by decision.

 

What I heard is that fight would be on HBO in May or June.

Bute is suppose to fight the winner of Sanavia-Haussler in Feb.

Maybe Andrade will fight on the undercard to "hype" a fight with Bute in June.

 

Andrade to cause the upset & KO Bute.

 

This would be a close fight on paper. I saw Lucian Bute's fight against Bika a few days ago and I was very unimpressed wih his performance, against a very limited fighter. Bute will be beaten sooner or later, he looks just a little short of being an elite fighter IMO.

 

:think hmmm...Lucian is not elite...but who ever claimed he was? He is a very good boxer, that's all...given that the Bika fight was his 20th pro fight, I don't think he did so badly...Bika, the Top 10 gatekeeper, was at his all-time peak and put on his best performance against Bute, who had his number by the 10th...I think Bute will get better - he will never be elite but he will be pretty good.

 

Bute is still quite green and is improving every fight.

 

Think this would be a good fight, and logical step in Bute's career. He is being handled well, and moved along just right.

As far as those people that are analyzing his performance against Bika, who has looked good against him? Even the best SMW in the world has his hands full with him, and he makes most fighters look ugly.

Not a big fan of Bute, but he will be a legit contender in that division.

Bute might not be a great boxer but he sure is one of the nicest guys in boxing - a very decent, modest, humble guy - one of the best!:good

I meant he isn't one of my favorite fighters. (yet)
